24 story high-rise residential building complex with 165 units over three levels of below grade parking , one retail level at grade and a $150 million development budget. Total of 47,900 sq ft of AGS various systems with STC ratings: 4-side structural glazed unitized curtain wall, captured unitized curtain wall, Punched windows, Unitized window wall, vents.
Finish of aluminum systems is Duranar at exterior and Duracron at interior. The punched windows were installed on the precast panels at the Willis yard. Solarban IG units by NWI , Formed Alum panels, Kawneer 2000T terrace Doors , CRL glass railing, Arcadia Storefront and doors. Dawson balanced doors. Entrance Laminated Glass Canopy. Fire rated glazing at vestibule frame.
Challenges for GGI are: Completion of each floor on 5 days per job schedule . Limited access / work area / material storage.
